All Shook Up Ftd
I am starting with an old release All Shook Up released by ftd in 2005 it features the entire Aug 26 Midnight Show featuring rarities Rubberneckin and This is the story. This concert also features the laughing version of Are You Lonesome Tonight.
This awesome concert starts out with a rockin version of Blue Suede Shoes. This is followed by I Got A Woman with the "well well well well" beginning. Next is a Serious Rock version of All Shook Up. Following that Elvis interacts with the audience during a fantastic version of Love Me Tender. Next up is the "Son of bitch sing" version of Jailhouse Rock and Don't Be Cruel Medley. Next is Heartbreak Hotel not my favorite because at points in the song he mumbles through the lyrics. Other than that another strong rendition of the song. Next is the ballad of telling a girl you an't nothing but a hound dog. Strong and powerful version nice. I Can't Stop Loving You is next and one of my favorites of 1969. Next is a less serious but powerful rendition of the medley Mystery Train/Tiger Man. The monologue is next and clocks over 10 mins and elvis wants to sing Rubberneckin but gets to it later. Next is Baby What You Want Me To Do a favorite from the 68 comeback special. Runaway is next and is special because Del Shannon is in the audience listening to his song being sung by the king himself. After that Elvis goes into the infamous laughing version of Are You Lonesome Tonight. It is a good version of the song if you take out the laughing. Next is Rubberneckin a really really good version of the song. In my opinion he should have sung the song more during the engagement. Yesterday/Hey Jude is next a tribute to the Beatles. He now introduces his band mates. In The Ghetto is next and a good version at that. But next is This is the story which I think is a good version of it. Now is the now out now live rock version of suspicious minds awesome. Now due to speculation I add What'd I Say to this review due to it being on audience recording but not the official release. But think about it where is the Polk Salad Annie expert. It is not after Suspicious Minds but after what i say. So in my opinion Elvis did sing it that night. Now it is Can't Help Falling In Love which is his ender for the entire engagement.
